Overall - 17th out of 34 teams
This was our fifth year cooking the Rotary Cookoff at Marshall, MO. Ron and Jill Philips of Blue Springs cooked with us. Ron and Jill are KCBS Certified BBQ judges and are completing their Master Judge process. To be a KCBS Master Judge, you need to judge 30 contests and cook with a team at one contest. Randy signed their certifications at the end of the weekend. We got some great tips from them as they looked at our entries from a judge’s perspective. This was as much of a learning experience for us as it was for them. We hope to see them back at our camp again in the future.
